Markides Associates is delighted to announce that Matt Harris has joined as an Associate Director in our transport team. Matt has over 10 years’ experience in transport planning, specialising in the planning, design and delivery of major developments across London and the South East. Matt is Chartered with a broad range of skills including the preparation of transport evidence for planning applications, strategic transport planning advice, S106/S278 negotiations, supporting the masterplanning process, development design, urban realm design and public transport design and assessment.
Matt has led project teams delivering successful planning consents for schemes in London and further afield including Battersea Power Station, Shell Centre, Portland House, Imperial College White City Campus and Eastman Village. He has also undertaken bespoke research projects for public bodies investigating the barriers to transporting freight by river and the links between parking provision and car use in outer London Boroughs.
