On Friday 15th June Markides Associates had a clay pigeon shooting day with some of our clients.
We were blessed with a bright sunny day which rendered any excuses for bad shooting as a result of either wind or rain, completely redundant!
Dan Palman from Berkeley Homes, who’d never picked up a gun before the day hit 32 out of 50 and proved to be a natural at shooting rabbit clays.
Quentin Webster from Hadley put his game shooting expertise to good use and showed us all how it was done by hitting 41 from 50, despite kicking himself over the teal that got away.
Our very own Damian Tungatt achieved his best ever position with the wooden spoon!
Atholl Noon, Des McCarthy and Louis Lau were the perfect hosts in helping to serve the bacon butties in the morning; shooting with extreme care during the day; and making sure that all our guests had a warm welcome.
Andreas would have done a lot better except that he thought it wise to let some of our clients beat him!
A thoroughly enjoyable day was had by all!
